It was our last (full) day to experience DisneySea's 15th Anniversary offerings and a Table Is Waiting. That day we had 2 major goals: A Table is Waiting in the morning and Crystal Wishes in the evening. Our plans weren't looking too good because it was raining again. We started our day with pastries and sweet treats from Mama Biscotti.

We sat in the rain for about an hour in the queue for A Table is Waiting and then it was canceled. This really put a damper on things... After feeling frustrated and cold, Jane and I walked to Cape Cod to take in all the adorable Sweet Duffy decorat…

Of course, we had to try the famous potato churro! There's usually about a 20-minute queue, but since it was raining, we got ours in just minutes. So worth it!

The rain cleared up in time for the first Crystal Wishes around 2pm. We assumed that we could claim our spots just after the 2pm showing. However, not a single person (in the standing section) moved. So, from 2:30pm - 6:30pm we waited with other diehard fans and caught the sunset.

This time around, our view was still less than spectacular. It seemed like we were never going to get a clear view of this show. I spent about 50% of the show on my tippy toes and the other half switching between two sides of the same person. But I …

This time around, our view was still less than spectacular. It seemed like we were never going to get a clear view of this show. I spent about 50% of the show on my tippy toes and the other half switching between two sides of the same person. But I have such a soft spot for this show and it was a bittersweet finale that night (a few fans were crying!)

Just after Crystal Wishes (and a second failed attempt to watch A Table is Waiting), we visited one of the interactive portals.

There are quite a few stationed all throughout DisneySea, but Minnie Mouse seemed to be a pretty active hotspot. These portals can be activated with the Crystal Compasses that they sell in the park.

Above is a fun video I filmed to showcase how gorgeous the portal is at night.

We had some time before Fantasmic, so we explored a little more.

After wandering around the Fortress Exploration, we decided to find a unique spot to watch Fantasmic. We found ourselves near the explorers' ships for an interesting backside view.

I would recommend standing by the sailing ships if you want a clear view of Ariel/Eric and Aurora/Philip! The major downside, fallout from the pyro makes it hard to breathe at times. This area seemed to be pretty popular amongst fans who came to see their Daisuki Ariel and Eric. Overall, try it once if you have the time. It was very interesting.

Even though the rain changed our plans, Tokyo DisneySea is one place that can easily put a smile on your face. There are countless nooks and crannies to explore, even in inclement weather.  I wish we had more time to soak in the 15th Anniversary, but it was an incredible time nonetheless. Day 6 at Tokyo Disneyland coming soon.

Enjoy,
Mary! (❛▿❛✿)
